I am writing of perhaps the best Vietnamese restaurant that was. It was family run, small yet super clean. And the food was very good. All my kids are grown now and I can attribute their fondness of Vietnamese food to Le Kims. I live in another state now and have yet to find a Vietnamese restaurant that could come close. There are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in California and even there my wife and I still benchmark the taste against Le Kims. It was just that good!

Le Kim's is closed now. But operated for decades. We loved going here for special family dinners, and as often as we could. We even have a big family photo with Kha standing there with everyone. Kha and Tina made this place special, and made delicious homemade and wholesome food. My favorite Tamarind Soup continues to be a dish I have found no other comparable version. They made veggie fried rice for the kids, that was healthy with lots of veggies and never greasy. Their Thai ice tea and other drinks were always made fresh and never from instant or concentrate. This quality of food drink and service is almost impossible to come by. We miss this place and the wonderful couple that ran it.
